How do I control the lights? +

The light effects are controlled via the BanLanX app, available on iOS and Android. From the app you can pick colours, effects and intensity — and switch in real time while the music plays.

How do I install the SoundGlow kit? +

Installation is straightforward and needs no technical experience — you just need to remove the grill from your SOUNDBOKS. All parts and tools are included, and the whole thing takes about 15 minutes. Check our step-by-step guide here.

Will SoundGlow void my SOUNDBOKS warranty? +

No. The SoundGlow controller integrates without modifying your SOUNDBOKS in any way. No drilling, no screwing into the speaker itself. Your SOUNDBOKS warranty stays fully intact.

How much power does SoundGlow use? +

SoundGlow uses 5V LED strips and is designed to draw as little power as possible. The impact on your SOUNDBOKS battery life is minimal.

Is SoundGlow compatible with SOUNDBOKS GO? +

No, unfortunately not. The SoundGlow kit is designed specifically for SOUNDBOKS 3 and SOUNDBOKS 4.

🧡 Roskilde Festival

Without light
it's just radio.

SoundGlow happened because a party deserves more than just good sound. Roskilde Festival has always been a big part of our summer.

Before SOUNDBOKS came along, we built our own speaker at camp. It sounded fine, but it was heavy and a pain to haul around. The moment SOUNDBOKS showed up, we switched immediately.

But something was still missing. Light. The big camps had their setups — we were stuck with small white fairy lights that rarely lasted the whole week.

That got us thinking: what if you could build light directly into the SOUNDBOKS and make it react to the music?

That was the start of SoundGlow — a simple kit you install yourself. No soldering, no hassle. Just plug it in and it works.
